If there’s one thing that makes a holiday truly special, it’s the ability to share it with all members of the family – including our four-legged friends. At The Cabin in the New Forest, we don’t just accept dogs, we welcome them with open arms, and more importantly, open spaces.

Secluded amid lush woodland and bordering expansive common land, The Cabin provides the ultimate retreat for dog lovers. We believe that holidays are a time for the whole family, and that’s why we’ve ensured every aspect of our accommodation is as dog-friendly as possible.

Dogs and owners alike will discover the location is perfect for long walks, exciting exploration, or just lounging around in the sunshine. As any dog parent knows, there’s nothing quite like the joy of seeing your pet bounding happily through the great outdoors. In the surrounding woodlands, filled with fascinating scents and sights, your dog will be in sensory heaven!

The Cabin itself is equally prepared to host your canine companions. We understand that dogs aren’t just pets; they’re part of the family. That’s why we provide throws and blankets for the furniture, allowing your pet to enjoy the cosy comforts of our Scandi-style accommodation. And for those damp days following a frolic in the forest or a romp on the nearby beaches, an entrance nook serves as the perfect spot to wipe off muddy paws and hang wet coats.

Speaking of beaches, the nearby shores of Highcliffe and Mudeford are open to dogs all year round, giving your dog the chance to experience the joy of sand between their paws and the salty sea breeze in their fur. Just remember to check the signs, as access to certain areas is restricted from May through to September.

Back at The Cabin, there’s nothing better than rounding off the day on the spacious sundeck, watching the sun set with your faithful friend by your side. Perhaps even a little snuggle under the stars, as you light the outdoor fire pit, the perfect end to another doggy-perfect day.

At The Cabin, we’ve considered every detail to make sure that your dog enjoys their holiday just as much as you do. So, if you’re searching for a dog-friendly holiday destination that doesn’t compromise on comfort or luxury, look no further!

But the allure of Burley extends beyond its mystical reputation. With traditional tea rooms, old-world pubs, and unique gift shops, Burley serves as a delightful destination for a family outing. Explore the village on foot, by bike, or even hitch a ride on a traditional horse-drawn wagon for a truly memorable experience.

In contrast, Bransgore presents a different slice of Hampshire village life.
